Then sign up soon for a special three-part workshop, "Fiction Writing 101: Learn to create, write, and publish the story you’ve always wanted to tell." The workshop is open to anyone whether they are Roane State students or community members.
Roane State assistant professor and award-winning author Elizabeth Genovise will teach you how to conceptualize, draft and ultimately publish the stories you want to tell. You will learn how to brainstorm story ideas, develop your plot, create characters, understand points of view, draft dialogue, publish your work, and much more. After this course, you will understand the specific steps you can take to go from wanting to write to creating and sharing stories.
