Street Painting Festival - Prizes

Street Painting Festival

The annual Oak Ridge Street Painting Festival on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020 at historic Jackson Square will, as always, offer prizes for artists.

Prizes for each category are $75 for first place, $25 for second place, and $15 for third place.

A $300 prize will be given for Best in Show, and a $200 prize will be given for a People’s Choice Award.

The theme for this year’s event is HeART For Heroes. We wanted a topic that would be multifaceted – all the while appropriate for the current environment we are living in, inspirational for our artists, and certainly not least a heartfelt gesture to honor the heroes of the COVID-19 global pandemic. The logo for the theme details chalk aligned to create the word ART, as part of the greater HeART. We hope you will be motivated by the amazing talent that is displayed at our event!

Artists that create chalk art clearly inspired by the Heart for Heroes theme will take part in a chance to win a bonus prize of $25.
