Financial Aid

Each student’s circumstances are different, so it is important to contact us immediately if you anticipate receiving financial aid for Winter Term.

Regarding choosing fall or spring semester:

If you choose fall semester and were enrolled in Winter Term courses by the 14th day of the fall term (census day), your aid is based on your enrollment at that time, including any Winter Term session courses. It is very important that you begin attendance in the courses or it may result in a portion of aid due back to the college. If you add a Winter Term course after census, while it may be helpful for GPA recovery, you will most likely have to pay out of pocket.

If you choose spring semester, this is the more likely semester to have financial aid eligibility. If you have been assigned a Success Coach, contact your coach. If you do not have a coach, contact the One Stop at onestop@roanestate.edu for assistance.

Books
