The Roane County News, in conjunction with the Arts Advisory Council of Roane State Community College, hosts a weekly feature called “Hot Spots for the Arts” which will list all upcoming concerts, plays, art shows, etc. for Roane County.
This feature is part of Roane County News & RSCC’s commitment to the community by helping promote the performing and visual arts in Roane County. RSCC’s Art Advisory Council will serve as the clearinghouse. Any school or organization having a concert, choral or dance performance, dramatic production, art show, recital, etc., may submit their information for inclusion in Hot Spots for the Arts. This is a free service to the community.
To submit information, please call Roane State Community College at 882-4640 or send an email to miller@roanestate.edu and request a Hot Spots for the Arts Submission Form or a form can be printed from this web site. Once completed, the form can be faxed or mailed to Roane State Community College. Information must include the name of the event, type of event (i.e. concert, art show, etc.), sponsoring organization, date, cost (if any), a telephone number for the public to call for information or tickets, and a brief sentence describing the event. Information must be received by noon Tuesday of each week for inclusion in the next week’s feature.
