Tennessee High School Equivalency Diploma (HiSET)

Formerly known as the GED, the high school equivalency test (HiSET) is administered at our Roane County (Harriman) Campus and our Oak Ridge Branch Campus. All potential examinees are encouraged to visit the State of Tennessee HiSET webpage for valuable information regarding registering with an Adult Education Office.

In Tennessee, you must meet the following eligibility requirements to take the HiSET.

To find an Adult Education program near you, please call 865-594-0766 or visit the Adult Education webpage. They can provide information regarding registration. When you are ready to take the HiSET they can help get you scheduled and pay your fees.

GED and HiSET Transcripts

GED/HiSET Transcript databases are no longer accessible by Testing Centers. To receive a copy of your GED/HiSET transcript you must contact:
