"The Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988" ensures that the workplace is drug-free for all employees.  In complying with this legislation, Roane State policy serves notice to all employees that the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession or use of controlled substances is prohibited in the workplace.  An employee who is found to be in violation of any these prohibitions may be subject to termination.  Additional information on Roane State's policy on a drug-free workplace is available in RSCC Policy GA-21-03 - Drug Free Environment.
