Fitness For Living Courses

Too busy for a traditional physical education class? Fitness for Living (PHED 1380) lets you get in shape and earn a Physical Education credit on your own time.

PHED 1380 (Fitness for Living I)

After attending a Mandatory Orientation and Initial Assessment session, you'll participate in the aerobic circuit training program, which utilizes strength training and aerobic conditioning. These supervised visits can be at your convenience during the fitness center hours of operation. Roane State has a fully equipped Fitness Center at the Main Campus in Roane County.

Orientation sessions are required for PHED 1380. PHED 1390, 1400 & 1410 will be continuations of the Fitness for Living course and will not require another Orientation and Initial Assessment. Please see your class syllabus below for more information.

Fitness for Living classes are held in Roane State's Fitness Center.
