Learning Support is only required for students who score below specific levels in the areas of mathematics, reading and/or writing. Go to the Initial Assessment & Placement page for more details.
Taking the diagnostic exams for either Math, Reading or Writing Learning Support will allow a student the opportunity to test out of part or all of their Learning Support classes. You must be registered in a Learning Support class to be able to take the diagnostic exam. The diagnostic is NOT available to students registered in a RODP course. The diagnostic exam is designed to assess a student’s abilities in the material that is covered within each course
Students are helped by their instructors and staff members in the Learning Support Lab. The Learning Center and the Learning Center Online are two great sources for a little extra help. The Learning Center is available to all students FREE of charge. If you need help understanding your assignment or course content, tutors are available. The Learning Center Online is listed on your Momentum page under Learning Resources. There, you can find study guides, helpful websites, and discussion boards where you can leave questions that will be answered by one of the many tutors.
If you are experiencing technical difficulties while trying to log into MyLabsPlus go to the MLS - Tech Help webpage and use the handy questionnaire to get help with the problem you may be encountering.
