All Roane State locations will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7 in observance of Labor Day.
Beginning in the fall semester of 2015, students will be able to test out of the Learning Support portion of the new co-requisite course MATH 0530/1530, namely MATH 0530 – Statistical Principles. Students will register for a specific time and date to take the algebra segment of the COMPASS test. The test will be proctored in the Testing Centers and will not be offered through the MLS Labs. More information will be available after the summer semester.
Summer 2015 students: want to test out of MATH 0891 or 0892?
Taking the Diagnostic Exam will allow a student the opportunity to test out of part or all of their modules within Math Learning Support. The Diagnostic is not a mandatory exam, but it is highly recommended. The Diagnostic must be taken prior to the start of any work within a module. Once a student begins working within a module they forfeit any attempt at the Diagnostic. You must be registered in a Math Learning Support class for the current semester to be able to take the diagnostic exam.
Before taking the Exam, visit MyLabsPlus and work on Practice Diagnostics.
