Federal Federal Pell To ensure funds are available for fall, the file must be complete with the financial aid office by August 1. For new students entering in the spring semester, your file must be complete by December 1.
SEOG Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant - Student must have a 0 EFC and filed their FAFSA early
FWS Federal Work Study (Student must submit FAFSA and a separate online application and must have unmet need)
State TSAA* Tennessee Student Assistance Award – available to students that submit their FAFSA early and have a low EFC
Lottery* Tennessee Hope Scholarship – Fall FAFSA must be submitted prior to September 1 and for Spring, the deadline is February 1

* Students must ensure they list the school they are 100% sure they are going to attend first on the FAFSA if they are receiving TSAA or Lottery funds. By doing this, it indicates to the State of Tennessee where the money is to go. (note: if a student changes their mind, the student must correct the FAFSA and complete a Change of Institution request in the TSAC Student Portal for the state to send the funds to a different school).
