Roane State CC drops 4-1 game to Walters St. despite efforts of Andrew Henson

Andrew Henson did all he could to give Roane State CC a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Walters St., as Roane State CC lost 4-1 in seven innings at Harriman, TN on Friday.

Andrew paced Roane State CC at the plate. Andrew went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

Andrew Gist got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed one run over seven innings. Andrew Gist struck out four, walked none and gave up five hits.

Walters St. was sparked by Brycen Roberts and Austin Norrell, who teamed up for three hits and three RBIs.

Brandon Marsonek took the loss for Roane State CC. He lasted just 5 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

Walters St. stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring one run on.

Austin Norrell's solo home run helped Walters St. score three runs in the sixth.

In the sixth inning, Roane State CC pushed across its only run of the day on a solo home run by Andrew.
