Roane State CC defeats Chattanooga St. 7-4

Ralph O'Neal went 2-3, helping Roane State CC to a 7-4 victory over Chattanooga St. on Monday at Chattanooga, TN.
He singled in the third and seventh innings.
Brandon Marsonek got the win for Roane State CC. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out one, walked four and surrendered six hits.

Tyler Troutt ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out four.

Roane State CC went up for good in the first, scoring one run on.

After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fourth, Chattanooga St. faced just a 4-1 deficit. An RBI single by Brandon Day fueled Chattanooga St.'s comeback. Finally, Brandon got Alec Meadows to to end the threat.

Two runs in the bottom of the fifth helped Chattanooga St. close its deficit to 4-3. A two-run home run by Michael Goss gave Chattanooga St. life. The Chattanooga St. threat came to an end when Brandon finally got Andy Clay to ground out.
