This is a Tennessee Transfer Pathway: www.tntransferpathway.org

1Students transferring to UTK must also complete a non-U.S. history sequence. TTU requires a U.S. history course prior to transfer.

2Students have a choice to take in math based on the transferring institution's requirements. Series A includes: MATH 1730 Precalculus AND MATH 1910 Calculus I OR Series B includes: MATH 1910 Calculus I AND MATH 1920 Calculus II. Students must complete both courses in the series. The first course will meet the General Education Math requirement AND the second course will complete the Area of Emphasis requirement. UTK requires Series B.

3For specific concentrations in Chemistry, PHYS 2110/2120 Calculus-based Physics I & II may be required. Check with the university to which students plan to transfer for specific requirements.

*History courses – students are advised to consult with their transfer institution to determine if a particular history course or sequence is required.

**All elective courses should be carefully selected to meet requirements at the transfer institution.
