The Tennessee Student Assistance Award administered by the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation is a grant made available to Tennessee residents attending college in the State of Tennessee. Funds are limited, so early application through the FAFSA is important. Beginning October 1, 2016, the FAFSA will be available on October 1 for each following academic year and students should submit the FAFSA as soon as possible for the following academic year.
