Roane State Community College

Roane State has been known for more than 20 years for high quality healthcare and safety courses for professional certification, licensure renewal and industrial safety applications. We serve 5,000 students annually and have contracts with more than 75 businesses and organizations throughout the area, as well as with some national and international groups.

Our instructors are seasoned veterans in healthcare and safety. Our adjunct faculty is made up of experienced RNs, paramedics, physicians and safety experts who bring real-world experience to the classroom and clinic.

• We provide training onsite at your organization or at our campus locations
• We offer courses for state licensures and certifications and courses for national licensures and certifications
• Most of our courses are turn-key: we provide all instructors, supplies, equipment and certificates
• We serve a wide area of Tennessee and have worked with many organizations out of state

Partnerships

We partner with a variety of organizations to provide the best possible training for our clients. We hold critical care clinics in local hospitals, provide training and expertise to the National Park Service, Maryville College, the Wilderness Medical Society, UT-Battelle, Y-12, Energy Solutions, Great Smoky Mountain Institute at Tremont, and the City of Knoxville Fire Department.
