I absolutely loved this service learning project. I can honestly say that this is the best project that I have ever had to do in school. This was inspirational. It is for a great cause and I loved working on this. I and my grandmother did the quilt. She helped with the design and she did the quilting. I actually loved spending time with my grandmother and watching her while she is perfecting her craft and trying to pass it down to me. I am very grateful for the experience, and even more grateful for being able to give it to those in need.
I loved everything about this quilt. I loved sewing and I thought we had plenty of time. I thought that the parts broken down helped me stay on track. The only dislike that I had was the fact that it couldn’t be any bigger!! I think it would have been amazing to be able to make a bigger quilt for the child to be able to grow with. This will undoubtedly be one of the best memories from my college years.
