Mission Statement: To provide allied health sciences students with the knowledge, skills, and behaviors to achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals as competent health care practitioners and active, effective citizens in their respective communities.
Core Values: Our Vision Statement informs our various stakeholders, both internally and externally, about our picture of the future we want to create. Our Mission Statement defines our purpose. Our Core Values provides the principles and standards for everything we do, the decisions we make, and defines our relationships with students, each other, the community, and self.
Learning—We value the learner, the principles of the Learning College and the teaching/ learning process, and the personal growth of our faculty and staff. As a community of scholars, we strive to provide positive, active, student-centered learning/teaching environments and opportunities of the highest quality, making the student learner our highest priority.
Excellence—We value excellence in everything we do. We constantly seek to achieve the highest standards of performance through assessment, accountability, and continuous improvement strategies, never accepting the status quo.
Honesty and Integrity—We value honesty and integrity as essential tenets of an ethical institution. We believe honesty and integrity are the foundations for fairness, truth, open communication, mutual respect and effective leadership. We promote and engage in practices of responsible stewardship to gain public trust.
Accountability— We value the concept of accountability as a foundation of institutional excellence and ethical resource management and the fostering of public trust. We believe all persons are responsible for their actions and the outcomes of those actions.
