About the Concentration The emphasis of these concentrations reach beyond the "learning of software". Classes in computer art and design concentrate on the creative solving of visual problems using the computer as a tool. While software knowledge is not seen as a primary goal, students completing these programs must pass proficiency tests from six areas of software specialty. An internship is also required for graduation. The interplay between traditional and electronic media, and the interdependence between fine art and graphic design provides the philosophic basis for these concentrations. Degrees Offered |
