Roane State classes are housed in five portable buildings donated by the Fentress County Board of Education. These portable units provide us with a total of 6,000 square feet of space for 10 classrooms.  York Institute leased property to Roane State to house the portable units, and the Fentress County Commission has contributed $5,000 to assist with the initial set-up.  And, due to the assistance of local citizens, high school students can earn college and high school credit at the same time.

• Take I-40 East to Exit #317 (Jamestown/Crossville Exit) Turn Right
• Continue on US-127 North (36.2 miles)
• Turn LEFT to take the TN-52 W ramp toward JAMESTOWN (0.2 miles)
• Turn RIGHT onto TN-52 (0.5 miles)
• Turn RIGHT onto N MAIN ST/US-127 North (1.1 miles)
• Turn RIGHT into the RSCC parking area across the highway from York Institute

If you are on I-40W (heading toward Crossville from Knoxville)

• Take I-40 West to Exit #317 (Jamestown/Crossville Exit) Turn Right
