The Center for Teaching Arts and Technology, a Center of Emphasis for Higher Education center, became a reality at Roane State on July 1, 1998. The mission statement for the center sums up the goals to which we strive.

To support the Roane State Community College faculty in the effective use of Instructional Technology and Educational Technology in their classes.
