iPad Download instructions

The library has two ebook databases with iPad download capabilities: EBSCO eBooks and ebrary

EBSCO ebook downloads – instructions for the iPad

1. Do you have an Adobe ID (personal account)?

If yes, move on.

If no, you will need to create an Adobe account. The website is https://www.adobe.com/account/account-information.html#myadobeid

2. Do you have the Bluefire app?

If yes, move on.

  • If no, you will need to visit the App Store and download the free Bluefire reader app.

3. It is time to head to the library database, EBSCO. Do you have a personal EBSCO account?

If yes, sign in to your EBSCO account.

If no, you can easily create this free account. Click on the “sign in” link in the upper right corner of the database. You will need to create a new account.

4- You have found the book you need and you are ready to download it. Select the download tab under the ebook title. EBSCO1

5. You will be given a download options checkout period. You can download the book up to 7 days. The item will be inaccessible after your checkout period ends.

6. Choose to open the document with the Bluefire app, after the downloading process is finished.

The eBook is now loaded on your ipad and will be available for 7 days, after the 7 day check out the eBook will be inaccessible.

If yes, sign in to your Ebrary account.

If no, you can easily create this free account. Click on the “sign in” link in the upper right corner of the database. You will need to create a new account.

4- You have found the book you need and you are ready to download it. Select the download tab under the ebook title. ebrary1
5. You will be given a list of download options. You can download specific pages or the entire book. The item will be inaccessible after 14 days. ebrary2

6. Choose to open the document with the Bluefire app, after the downloading process is finished.

The eBook is now loaded on your iPad and will be available for 14 days, after the 14 day check out the eBook will be inaccessible.
