TBR Virtual Library
Tennessee Board of Regents Virtual Library
The Tennessee Board of Regents established
this Virtual Library to provide online search capabilities, reference
materials, databases, journals, and other research services to Regents'
Degree students and faculty by joining together the resources of TBR
libraries throughout the State of Tennessee.
Borrowing
agreements
TALC Universal Borrowers Card:
TALC is the Tennessee Academic Library Consortium which includes all UT
and TBR College and University Libraries. [ List of
TALC Libraries ] RSCC students and employees may obtain a
special library card, signed by an RSCC librarian, that permits book
check-outs at any state-supported college or university library.
Ask at the Main Library in Roane County or at the Coffey Library at the
Oak Ridge Branch Campus. Borrowers must follow the rules for
that institution. To check out the rules before you go, visit the TALC Card
homepage and select the link at the bottom of the page -- policies
file.
Oak Ridge National Laboratory:
The RSCC Libraries are pleased to provide a cooperative borrowing
agreement with the Research Libraries of ORNL. Library borrowing
privileges include unclassified books and technical reports. Services
to RSCC does not include journal, microforms, audiovisual, or
interlibrary loans, though some materials are available for
photocopying. Book and report loans from ORNL will be made directly to
RSCC libraries, rather than to individuals. However, students and staff
may be granted physical access to ORNL’s Central Research Library with
an authorized RSCC library representative. Please contact Becky

Public Libraries:
Students at the Roane State teaching sites may benefit from services of
the local public library. The Oak Ridge Public Library allows only
Oak Ridge city residents to check materials out, unless you purchase a
borrowers card . For more information about public libraries
