Course Description

This course is an introductory survey of human origins and prehistoric cultures. Emphasis is placed on the general principles, history, theoretical orientations, and methods of archaeology. This course will examine a number of prehistoric cultural lifeways from the beginnings of human culture to the rise of civilization. Course availability determined by dean.
