Course Description

Capstone course designed to integrate the student’s knowledge of chemical plant process controls. Continuation of the principles of process control and the functions of instruments used to monitor and control chemical processes; course focuses on developing various troubleshooting methods, emphasizing instrumental methods. A cooperative educational arrangement or OJT within the process controls discipline will be required to successfully complete this course (pilot plant or plant specific); 2 hour lecture, 3 hour lab. F (Prerequisite: CHET 1320 with a C; Co-requisite: CHET 2310)
