Course Description

This course focuses on the study of the scope and effects of a number of societal problems. Attention is given to research findings as well as social programs and policies that have been or can be taken to attempt to solve the problems. Some possible social problems examined include social inequality, social change, environmental concerns, population and resource challenges, violence, war, and issues related to death and dying.
