Roane State dental hygiene students traveled to Costa Rica May 8-17. The students provided dental hygiene preventive services to 101 children, doubling the amount of children treated last year.
“I am very proud of our students and their dedication to provide such a valuable and much-needed service to the children of Costa Rica,” program director Melinda Gill said. “It truly opens their hearts to learning and experiencing other cultures.”
