Roane State Film Festival
Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 3 PM at the Princess Theatre
The event includes screening of the films, followed by filmmaker Q&A and an awards presentation. The public is welcome to attend.

Theme

This year’s theme is obsession. Each film submitted to the Roane State Film Festival must relate to this theme. Each filmmaker may choose their own genre, including but not limited to drama, horror, comedy, action, and science fiction.

For 2022-2023, the Roane State Film Festival is open to all Roane State students and all high school students in Roane County, Tennessee.

Rules for Filmmakers

Film Registration

If you plan to enter a film, you must register below by February 15, 2023.
All films must be submitted by 6 PM Eastern time on March 1, 2023.

After registering below, you will receive information by email on how to submit your film.

The Roane State Film Festival is supported by committee members Maggie Bouldin, Michael Golebiewski, Keith McDaniel, Courtney Minton, Jeff Snell, and Matt Waters.
