Now that you’ve scheduled your first appointment, here are some helpful tips for preparing for that meeting.

1. Log into RaiderNet and review your alerts box.
   
   Do you have unsatisfied admissions or financial aid requirements? If you’re able to submit those prior to your appointment, that will help expedite things! Many requirements may be submitted electronically. If you’re in doubt, email your coach for clarification!
2. Make sure RSCC has your FAFSA.
   
   If you had financial aid requirements linked in your RaiderNet, then we DO have your FAFSA. You can log into your FAFSA using your FSAID to double check that it was sent to Roane State. If Roane State isn’t the first (or only) school listed, you’ll need to update that and resubmit your FAFSA. Please do not make any other updates to your FAFSA without checking with your success coach. If you think you need to make a correction, ask your coach first! There are many corrections we can make on our end without you needing to resubmit your FAFSA.
3. Log into the TSAC portal to make sure your state aid programs are directed to Roane State.
   
   If you see another school listed, please click on the “Transfer School” button and update this to RSCC.
4. If you are enrolled in SAILS Bridge Math during your senior year of high school, please let your success coach know as it may help determine which math classes you start with at Roane State.
5. Double check your appointment date, time and location.
   
   An email confirmation was sent to the address you provided when you scheduled the appointment. Campus maps are available on our website and your coach’s building/room number is listed when you click on his/her name in your RaiderNet. If you have a Zoom appointment, a Zoom link will be sent to you the day before or the morning of your appointment. If you have a phone appointment, your coach will call you at your scheduled time.
