Roane State Peer Mentor Program

Peer Mentors develop a supportive learning relationship with first year students by helping them adjust to their new roles and responsibilities of college.

You may learn more about our Mentors or Mentees in the links below.

As a Mentee you have access to Mentors with personal knowledge and college experience at RSCC. This is a great opportunity for first time freshmen to connect with successful returning students who will share their skills and abilities. Our Mentors will help you adjust to the college experience here at RSCC by connecting with you through interests, identifying benefits of RSCC campus resources, and sharing general academic strategies. Mentees are the biggest beneficiaries of learning what works in college from the experience and leadership of Mentors. Mentors also benefit by practicing leadership and exploring their own knowledge of how college works. This program is all about students helping students reach success.
