There is an urgent and growing need in the U.S. machining and machine tool industry for skilled individuals. America’s Cutting Edge (ACE) is a national initiative to restore the prominence of the U.S. machine tools sector. Through ACE, you can receive free online training and also qualify for hands-on, in-person training that can put you on a path to a career (or advancement, for existing workers) in the machine tool industry. No prior training or experience is required.
Visit AmericasCuttingEdge.org for more information.
Future camp dates coming soon. If you’d like to participate in these future opportunities, please contact Evan Lohrey at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have a group that would like to participate as a cohort, please let us know that as well. We will work with you to coordinate this possibility.
The camp is an introduction to CNC machining; no past experience is required to attend. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
Registration Note: the invite is a manually handled process and may take some time for the invite to arrive after registration. Before the boot camp, a 6 hour online course needs to be completed. If you need access to a suitable computer for taking this course, please contact the CNC Camp Coordinator below and accommodations will be arranged.
