Roane State Community College

The CRO leads in creating and monitoring business continuity plans and guiding campus risk assessments. This helps the college to identify levels of risk, and assist to recognize risk mitigation efforts. The CRO also provides operational risk consulting services to the broader Roane State Community College community.

Business Continuity Planning:

• The College utilizes a third party program, Kuali, to help us "do tomorrow, what we were doing yesterday, regardless of what happens today". Roane State currently has 50+ plans developed for multiple departments and programs developed through collaboration and impact analysis. 

Risk Management:

• The CRO guides the executive staff and individual departments on annual Risk Assessments detecting concerns and gaps to better identify controls that are in place and those that may be needed to further mitigate the risk.
