Charlie Helms was a lifelong resident of Loudon County. He spent the last ten years of his life at The Neighborhood in Tellico Village. He was well cared for and loved by all the staff, especially the nursing staff. This scholarship is to honor Charlie by establishing a scholarship for Loudon County residents that would like to pursue a career in nursing in hopes that someday they find and care for their "Charlie."
