Roane State is seeking nominations for the 2026 Outstanding Alumni Award to be given in recognition of outstanding service to the recipient’s profession, the college, and the East Tennessee community.
Recipients will be announced later this year and honored in a special reception in their home county. The deadline to submit a name for consideration is July 1, 2026.

Please note that nominations should include the nominee’s full name and information detailing how the nominee meets all of the award criteria.
Most recently, Greg and Kim Gheen were named as recipients of the 2025 Outstanding Alumni Award. Their nomination highlighted the couple’s enduring commitment to education, civic engagement, and community development.
Nominees must have attended Roane State Community College for at least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours to be considered eligible for this award. Final selections will be made by the RSCC Alumni Recognition Committee.
