Roane State Community College will host three job fairs this fall to help students connect with local employers and explore career opportunities. Employer registration is now open for all three sessions.

The first job fair will focus on the nursing field and is scheduled for August 14, 2026, from 11am until 1pm ET at the college’s new Knox Regional Health Science Education Center. The facility just opened this past January and is located at 9575 Sherrill Boulevard in Knoxville.

A broader healthcare job fair is scheduled the following month on September 1, 2026, from 11am until 1pm ET. This event will also be held at Roane State’s Knox Regional Health Science Education Center. Employers covering all aspects of healthcare will be represented.

On October 6, 2026, the college will host a general job fair expected to cover a variety of fields and industries, including finance, technology, law enforcement, manufacturing, retail, national security, nuclear, teaching, and more. This session will be held 11am-1pm ET at the Oak Ridge Campus, located at 701 Briarcliff Avenue. Information tables will be set up inside the atrium of the Coffey/McNally Building.

Roane State students, recent graduates, and members of the community are encouraged to attend any or all of these job fairs to learn more about careers in their fields of interest. There is no cost to attend and pre-registration is not required – walk-ins are welcome.

Additionally, job seekers are advised to bring copies of their resume and be prepared for on-site interviews as some employers may be seeking to fill positions immediately. If you need assistance crafting a resume or further preparing for your job search, visit the resources available at roanestate.edu/placement.

Job fair registration for employers is available online at roanestate.edu/jobfair. Questions about these events can be directed to Roane State’s Placement Office by emailing Deborah Porter, porterdc1@roanestate.edu.
