Gayle Mullins was president of the Support Staff Council in 2000 when she passed away. The scholarship is named to honor Gayle's memory and her dedication to Roane State and the Support Staff Council.
The scholarship is funded with proceeds from the Support Staff Council fundraisers and individual donations. It is managed by the Roane State Foundation.
To be eligible, students are required to carry at least six credit hours in the current semester, have a grade-point average of 2.5 or above and submit an application.
