Elective courses should be carefully selected in consultation with a faculty advisor. Students should choose courses appropriate for transfer to the senior institution they have selected.
History courses – students are advised to consult with his/her transfer institution to determine if a particular history course or sequence is required.
Students should confer with their advisor or a representative of the university to which they intend to transfer to determine the recommended Humanities/Fine Arts courses. Students who intend to transfer to UM should take LIT 2201 and LIT 2202 to fulfill this requirement. TSU also recommends a LIT sequence.
ETSU requires a BIOL sequence: 1010/1020 or 1110/1120.
TSU requires ECON. UM and UTC require ANTHRO.
Students who intend to transfer to APSU or UTM should take BIOL 2010: Human Anatomy and Physiology I as an unspecified elective.
