Course Description

Aliphatic, aromatic, and heterocyclic organic chemistry with emphasis on structure, nomenclature, and functional groups. Introductory biochemistry concerning lipids, carbohydrates, proteins, and nucleic acids. 3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory (Prerequisite: CHEM 1010) Each student is assessed a lab fee for this course.
