Introduction to basic chemical engineering calculations; intro to flow and heat concepts, fluid flow and separation principles; operational principles of columns, boilers, heat exchangers, and refrigeration; applications of common industrial processes; safety, troubleshooting, and communication skills are emphasized; lecture 3 hours, lab 2 hours. F, Sp (Pre-requisites: ENST 1300 or MATH 1130, CHEM 1010, and ENST 1362, ALL with a C.)
