Course Description

This course is an introduction to problem solving; logic, sets, and operations on sets; and properties and operations on whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, irrational numbers, and real numbers. Any student would profit from this course, but it is especially targeted to the education major elementary and non-math secondary). Sp (Prerequisites: Two years of high school algebra and one year of geometry AND an ACT of 19 or higher OR appropriate learning support math courses.)
Roane State General Education course approved and designed for transfer (TTP Course).


Bookstores are located on the Roane County and Oak Ridge campuses.
