Course Description

Foundations of OT
This course introduces the basic tenets of the occupational therapy profession. Topics include history, philosophy, the OT Practice Framework, the OT process, ethics, role delineation, standards of practice, professional organizations, and evidence-based practice. (2 lecture hours/week).
Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
Not part of a TN Transfer Pathway. Previously OTA 102
