Course Description
Human Movement for Occupation
This course provides a foundation for the understanding of the kinetics of human motion of the musculoskeletal system and its impact on occupational performance. Topics include, but are not limited to: procedures for range of motion, muscle testing, biomechanical principles, posture/positioning, and body mechanics. (2 hours lecture, 3 hours lab).
Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
Not part of a TN Transfer Pathway. Previously OTA 124
