Course Description
Neurological Theory and Treatment
The course provides an overview of the neurological system as it relates to occupational performance. Emphasis is placed on a holistic understanding of the impact of impairments on function and application of evidence-based principles of neurorehabilitation in the treatment of clients with neurological deficits.(4 hours lecture, 3 hours lab/week).
Pre-requisites: OTAP 1110; ALHS 1211; OTAP 1210; OTAP 1220; OTAP 1320; and OTAP 1340 or permission of instructor.
