Mickey’s Christmas Carol

Movie on Nov. 30, 6:00 pm

In conjunction with Roane County Children's Theater, the Arts and Lectures Committee will screen the family friendly holiday classic throughout the Harriman Christmas Parade (7-9 pm). The first showing of the movie will begin at 6:00 pm and replay throughout the parade, with the last showing right after the parade ends.

In collaboration with Roane State Concert Choir, Roane Choral Society presents the season’s first concert. It brings music celebrating three unique yet similar winter holiday traditions, featuring the familiar Shaw/Bennett arrangements of The Many Moods of Christmas.

Humpty-Dumpty Is Missing! or The Mysterious Case of the Fallen Egg

Roane County Children’s Theatre Production
Performances Feb. 16 & 17, 7:00 pm
Princess Theatre, 421 N. Roane Street, Harriman
Sammy Scoop, a private investigator, faces the biggest challenge of his illustrious career with the sudden fall and disappearance of the jolly Humpty-Dumpty who apparently had no enemies. But Sammy and his sidekick, Alice from Dallas, soon come up with a list of suspects who had motive and, perhaps, opportunity. Written by Joseph Robinette and directed by RSCC Sophomores Anna Cox and Danielle Reynolds.

The Sound of Music

Performances April 11-14

The Roane County foothills are alive with the sound of music! RSCC Theatre and Music students combine with Roane County Children’s Theatre and Roane Choral Society members and community to perform one of the most beloved musicals of all time! In Austria, 1938, an exuberant young governess brings music and joy back to a broken family, only to face danger and intrigue as the Nazis gain power. Music and lyrics by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II and presented in collaboration with Concord Theatricals, NY.

Central United Methodist Church, 301 Hickory Creek Rd., Lenoir City
We complete the season with a program of three main works representing time, including John Rutter’s Requiem and a commission by last season’s collaborator, Dr. Khyle Wooten. We are excited to join with the CUMC Chancel Choir and Worship and Music Director Lindsey Blocker!
