The 2+2 program enables students to complete a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education on one of four Roane State campuses (Roane, Oak Ridge, Cumberland, or Scott). The first two years of classes are taken with Roane State, (following the AST degree requirements), and the last two years of classes are taken with Tennessee Tech.
A new 2+2 education program for secondary education majors is now available with Bethel University. On the Roane County campus you are able to earn a Bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Bethel to teach History. We are also looking to add other areas such as English, Math, and Physical Education in the near future. More information will be coming soon, and questions can be sent to bradshawsn@roanestate.edu.
