Event

The 2025 Roane State Film Festival screening was held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Princess Theatre. Audience members voted for their favorite films. The film festival will return in the 2025-2026 academic year! Registration will open in the Fall 2025 semester.

The film festival is themeless. Each filmmaker may choose their own theme and genre, including but not limited to drama, horror, comedy, action, and science fiction.


The Roane State Film Festival is open to all Roane State students and all high school students in Roane, Anderson, Morgan, Loudon, Cumberland, Fentress, Scott, Campbell, Knox, and Blount counties.
