The Fentress County Children’s Center, a child advocacy center, is dedicated to providing a coordinated interagency, multi-disciplinary team approach to child physical and sexual abuse and address the legal, medical, and mental health needs of the child and non-offending family members within a less traumatizing environment than was previously available. These essential and crucial services are provided in a home like, child friendly, atmosphere designed to reduce the trauma and stress of the child victim. The center further strives to prevent the physical and sexual abuse of children through the implementation of innovative and creative education programs for children and adults. Volunteers are needed to help organize fundraisers, answering phones, and to help around the center with various needs. |

Gentiva Hospice is looking for companionship volunteers to offer their time and availability to give back to those who need it. Companionship volunteers are an important part of hospice services and provide so much to those on services. If you are searching for a way to make a difference in the lives of others, you belong here. Hospice volunteers are a valuable part of our care team. Based on your interests and preferences, receive specific volunteer training to help improve the quality of life for others. Our office covers 3 counties in TN- Cumberland, Bledsoe, and Fentress. From providing companionship, to running errands, you can choose how to service and how often! Here are a few examples of how our companionship volunteers serve:
