Dean's List

The Dean's List is the official medium for the institution to recognize outstanding academic achievement by students. Full-time students (those completing 12 or more semester hours of college-level courses) with a quality point average of 3.5 - 4.00 are identified each semester on the Dean's List.

Dean's List Process:

  1. Records Office computes the GPA.
  2. Institutional Research retrieves information from the computer and generates the Dean's List.
  3. The Office of the Dean of Students keeps a hard copy on file.
  4. Public Relations Office receives the list from Institutional Research and sends the news release to all RSCC service area newspapers.

The current Dean's List will be posted on the Public Relations News page. The fall list is posted in January, the spring list in May and the Summer list in September. (The Spring 2020 list was postponed because of COVID-19.)
