RSCC Policy AA-12-01; Field Trips

Subject: Field Trips

Field trips may be planned by any division or faculty. Plans must be discussed with and approved by the academic dean. Forms for college approved field trips are to be completed and sent to the academic dean and to the Vice President of Student Learnng for approval. The original is returned to the faculty member and a copy is kept on file in the office of the Vice President Student Learning. In addition, official college travel authorization forms must be completed and approved for all overnight and out of service area field trips.

Each student should fill out a Hold Harmless Agreement which is available in the academic dean’s office. Completed forms should be returned to the faculty member prior to the field trip and kept on file in his/her office.
