Counseling Services
Disibility Services

Career Services are provided through the Counseling, Career, and Disability Services Department to currently enrolled and prospective students who are undecided on their major.  Students often begin the career decision-making process by taking a free online career assessment, as well as by exploring career planning websites below.  Counselors are available to offer guidance throughout the entire career-decision making process, but please remember that this is an individual journey for each student which varies in length, and it takes dedicated time, effort, and reflection on the student's part.  Also, keep in mind that no single test can tell you "what you should be," but they are useful tools in learning about yourself and about available career options.

Students interested in internships and employment opportunities should contact the Placement Office (see link under Career Planning Websites at the bottom of this page).  The Placement Office has information that can assist students with resume writing and interview skills.

Click the Career Planning Websites link on this page to access the following career websites: (1) What Can I Do With This Major?;  (2) TN Department of Labor & Workforce Development; (3) Career One Stop; (4) Occupational Outlook Handbook; (5) O-Net Online; (6) The Princeton Review; (7) Roane State Placement Office.
