If you are an enrolled or prospective RSCC student and undecided on your major or career, we have resources available to help you make that very important decision.

How to Decide on a Career/Major

If You Have a Success Coach:

It's never too early to decide on your career, because it will impact your college major.

Follow the steps above before you meet with your Success Coach.

Bring up your career interests with your first meeting with your Success Coach. Your coach is eager to guide you throughout the entire career-decision making process.

if you are interested in more in-depth career exploration, make an appointment with your success coach and be sure to indicate that you want to discuss Career Exploration.

If You Have Transitioned To a Faculty Advisor:

If you have made a very careful decision to change career paths after starting classes, be sure to speak with your academic advisor as soon as possible so we can help. You can also email explore@roanestate.edu and we can work with you to get things started.
