Available Programs

The Anderson County Higher Education Facility is a partnership between Roane State Community College and the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville. Both organizations offer education and training programs at this location.

Roane State programs and classes offered here are Mechatronics Degree, Mechatronics Certificate, Robotics, Automation, and Plastics Injection Molding. Participants can earn specialized training, one-year certificates, and/or two-year degrees. Mechatronics graduates also qualify for transfer programs to four-year colleges and universities.

Facility Hours

Typically open from 7:30am to 10:00pm, Monday-Friday, however, please check with your faculty or check the web site before you visit.

Weather Related Closure Information

If you are a Roane State student attending this facility, you will follow the campus closure information of the Oak Ridge Branch Campus (ORBC). If ORBC is closed or delayed due to weather related concerns, this location will be as well. Please be sure to sign up for RaiderAlerts for important information related to campus information.

Directions

From Knoxville

  1. Take I-75N from Knoxville to exit #122 (TN-61/Norris/Clinton).
  2. Turn left off the exit and continue almost one mile.
  3. Turn left onto Frank L. Riggs Dr. (Clinton I-75 Industrial Park).
  4. Travel for approximately 1/2 mile. Campus is on your right, across the road from Aisin Automotive Castings.

From Nashville

  1. Take I-40 to exit #356 (TN-58 North/Gallaher Rd/Oak Ridge).
  2. Turn left off the exit and continue about 30 miles. During that time Gallaher Road becomes Oak Ridge Turnpike, then becomes TN-61.
  3. Turn right onto Frank L. Riggs Dr. (Clinton I-75 Industrial Park).
  4. Travel for approximately 1/2 mile. Campus is on your right, across the road from Aisin Automotive Castings.
